16th September 2007- work has started on Polar Bear Linux alpha 3, this time based off of Debian 4.0r1. More details will come in the next week.

19th August 2007- With school starting, I no longer have the time to work on Polar Bear Linux. I will be releasing a 'developer' edition to a few people soon.

9th August 2007- The release for Polar Bear Linux KODIAK beta 1 has been pushed back by 10 days due to problems with kernel incompatibility with the Linux live scripts (which require a little bit of re-compiling, re -packaging and hacking) which were totally unforeseen. Other changes to the schedule:

-Polar Bear Linux KODIAK beta 2 has been pushed to November, so that KDE 4 can be included in the release

-Polar Bear Linux KODIAK beta 3 has been cancelled, instead a release canidate will be made available at a still-to-be-determined time

-Polar Bear Linux KODIAK FINAL is still slated to be released on new years day 2008. However, this is subject to change

-Polar Bear Linux 2.0 alpha 1 is still slated for Spring 2008
